Observation notes that never leave your computer.

Get the highlights.
Notes, quotes, counts, timers and artifacts as they happen. What you typed in the room stays exactly as you typed it: a later edit sits beside the original, never over it.
All 22 components of the 2013 Danielson Framework, the one NYC uses. Tag each piece of evidence as a strength, an area to grow, or neutral, with coaching examples and next steps ready for seven of the eight components Advance rates.
The eight Advance components, weighted as the Overall Ratings Guide weights them — 17% each for 2a, 2d, 3b, 3c and 3d; 5% for 1a, 1e and 4e — so each teacher's rating so far updates as you finalize. Evidence from outside the classroom (1a, 1e, 4e) counts when it falls within 15 school days of the write-up.
Feedback due within 10 school days and the written report within 30, counted on the DOE's 2026–27 calendar. Each teacher's minimums by status — probationary, tenured or S/U — and a nudge when one still needs an unannounced visit. Narratives ready to copy into Advance, or download as Word.
Your book is a .wellnoted file you keep — in your school OneDrive folder if you like. Your passcode locks it on disk. WellNoted has no server to send it to.
A Draft button copies a prompt, with the names you list removed, for you to paste into an NYCPS-approved AI tool yourself. Nothing is sent by WellNoted.
